ListOfAllCountries.com ("List of All Countries," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent country-reference website. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the site, how third-party services may receive information, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
You can use the website without creating an account. At launch, the site does not operate a registration system, user profile, comment system, checkout, or web contact form. If you email us at contact@listofallcountries.com, your message and the information you choose to include are processed by your email provider and our email provider so we can read and respond to it.
2. Search, filters, copy tools and quizzes
The country-directory filter, copy tools, and flag-quiz answer checking run in your browser. Quiz answers and scores are kept only in the current page session and are not sent to us or used to build a user profile. A search started from the homepage may place the search term in the page URL (for example, ?q=Japan); as with other requested URLs, that URL may appear in ordinary hosting or security logs.
3. Hosting, security and server logs
Our hosting, DNS, security, and content-delivery providers may automatically process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include an IP address, approximate network location, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, and security-related signals. The site is designed for deployment through Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare may process this information when it provides hosting, DNS, security, or delivery services.
We use this information for purposes such as delivering pages, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, maintaining security, and understanding aggregate site reliability. We do not use server logs to try to identify ordinary visitors.
4. Cookies and browser storage
The core ListOfAllCountries.com features do not require an account and, at launch, our own search, filtering, copy, and flag-quiz functions do not set advertising cookies or store a visitor profile in local storage. Your browser or third-party services can still store data for their own purposes as described below.
5. Country flag images and third-party requests
Country flag artwork is currently loaded from FlagCDN (flagcdn.com). When your browser requests a flag image from that service, the provider can receive ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser information, the requested image, and the page that initiated the request. We use the flag service only to display country flags.
6. External links
Country pages may link to Wikipedia and the site may link to government, standards, or other reference websites. We do not send those sites information merely because a normal text link is present, but if you click an external link, the destination site receives the information ordinarily sent by your browser and applies its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
7. Advertising and Google AdSense
ListOfAllCountries.com uses Google AdSense site code on eligible pages for site verification, advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services. When Google advertising services are active, Google and other third-party vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers to serve, limit, personalize, measure, and protect advertising. Google may receive information such as the URL you visit and your IP address when Google services are integrated.

This Privacy Policy page is intentionally served without the Google AdSense script so that visitors can read the policy without loading an advertising tag from this page itself.
8. Consent and privacy choices
Where required by law or Google policy, we use consent controls before consent-dependent advertising technologies are activated. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the site may use Google’s certified consent management platform to present choices such as consent, do not consent, and manage options. Your available choices and the technologies activated may vary by region and by the consent you provide.
Depending on your browser and location, you may also be able to block or delete cookies, limit third-party cookies, or use browser privacy controls. Disabling some technologies may affect advertising or third-party features but should not prevent use of the core country directory.
9. Analytics
At the publication date of this policy, the production package does not include Google Analytics or another dedicated behavioral analytics script. If we add an analytics service later, we will update this policy and, where required, provide appropriate notice or consent before the change applies.
10. How long information is kept
We do not maintain user accounts or a visitor-profile database. Hosting and security providers may retain technical logs according to their own operational, security, and legal retention practices. Emails and correction requests may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain a record of editorial decisions, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
11. Data sharing
We may allow service providers to process information when necessary to host, secure, operate, or monetize the site. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the website or its assets. We do not sell a visitor list or email list for money.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights concerning personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Because the site does not maintain user accounts and collects very little information directly, we may not have information that can reasonably be linked back to you. To make a privacy request, email contact@listofallcountries.com. We may need enough information to understand and verify a request.
13. Children
ListOfAllCountries.com is a general-audience educational and reference resource. It is not designed to collect personal information from children, and the site does not offer user accounts or a feature asking children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can review the request.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for a static reference website, including HTTPS when deployed on the production domain and security headers in the publication package. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy commitments and applicable law.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the site, service providers, advertising setup, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we make a material revision.
